Intro: The first ground squirrel I got was Rikki, who was of the Richardson species. I got her in June 1998, and she passed on in June 2001. I was given Nina, a Thirteen-lined ground squirrel in 2000, but she died in the same year. My Third ground squirrel was another Richardson named Chuzzlewit, who I got in early 2004, and he sadly passed away a year later. Hopefully my current ground squirrels, Fenwick and Ariel, will live much longer than these. I got them in June 2005.
